Construction of OCM Roller ChainsRoller Chains is made up of roller links and pin linksRoller links consists of two bushing press-fitted into link platewith two free rotating rollers over the bushings. Pin links consistof two pin link plates into which two pins are press-fitted.
There are two types of pins: Rivet (Spring Clips) and Cotter Types
1) Rivet (Spring Clips) This is standard for single and multiple strand ANSI chain 80 and below and British standard chain 16B and below2) Cotter Type This is standard for single and multiple strand ANSI chain 100 and above and British standard chain 20B and above3) Offset Link The unit is a combination of roller link and pin link. This link is used when the chain length is odd number of pitches. It is recommended not to be used offset link whenever possible.4) Two Pitches Offset The unit consists of one offset link and one roller link Pins are press-fitted into link plates and the unit is more suitable for heavy impact load, high-speed driving than one pitch offset links
OCM Stainless Roller Chain SUS SeriesThis chain is made of 304 (austenitic) stainless steel. This chainhas excellent corrosive resistance very low magnetic.This chain is good for acid, alkali, water, etc. Heat resistance.
OCM Stainless Roller Chain SAC SeriesThis chain is made of 316 (austenitic) stainless steel. This is better in corrosive resistance than 304 Series and non-magnetic.
OCM Stainless Roller Chain SPH SeriesThe bush, pin roller of this chain are made of 600 Series precipitationhardened stainless steel with link plate is made of 304 stainlesssteel. Spring clips and cotter used are made of 304 stainless steelsMagnetic, Better wear-resistance. The working load of this chainis 1.5 time of SUS Series.
