What we’re working on:
• We have a bunch of running projects related to the credit card payment gateway business: you can help us instantly enchant new features, maintain and keep them up-to-date to unlock new cutting-edge technologies.• APIs Integration with our new partnerships to optimize credit card payment transactional cost • Request tracing! Your mission is to trace all requests from its source down to every service it touches when debugging and supporting incidents.• Continuous integration and delivery. Help lift and maintain our release system to the highest bar.
What you will be doing• Implement and maintain both microservices and monolith backend applications based on business requirements.• Improve our systems architecture to emphasize speed and resilience, and decrease bottlenecks.• Investigate and remediate issues that impact the health and performance of our production systems.• Build observability tools, including metrics, structured logging and distributed tracing and integrate them with our core applications to ensure traceable metrics are available when we need to diagnose issues.• Partner with the other Engineering, DevOps and DBAs teams to maintain our core applications and monitoring through instrumentation and testing.• Keep our applications up-to-date and secure with important security enhancements or patches.
You• Strong experience and background in Ruby or GoLang Development• Extensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, Sidekiq and PostgreSQL.• Experience on performance monitoring of production systems via APMs (e.g. Datadog).• Experience using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment systems (e.g. Buildkite).• Experience using Docker and containerized architectures (e.g. Kubernetes).• Experience using AWS Could components such as Lambda, SQS, SNS etc.• Ability to jump into the code-base and confidently refactor code with test coverage.• Have led development of a critical company initiative or feature, and delivered on time, with quality.• Methodical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.• Work effectively with minimal to no supervision.• Communicate well in English, both verbal and written.
