PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of various business opportunities that the organization is looking at (such opportunities may include real estate, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, realestate and hospitality operations, development and sale of real estate and any other such businesses that the Company wishes to pursue), including property/site selection, evaluation and recommendation of business models to be adopted for such sites including further evaluation of branding and operator selection for such properties/sites and recommendation for adopting the final business plan for such sites/properties.• Conducting feasibility studies and business plans both from a financial and qualitative aspect including the creation of investment information memorandums.• Conducting Due Diligence exercises and coordinating with the relevant consultants that the Company sees fit in assisting the Company in their business, investments and joint venture decisions.• Involvement in asset management processes including property/asset reporting processes and ongoing performance analysis of operating assets, with active discussions with the hospitality operators of such assets to ensure optimum financial performance of such assets.• Involvement in overall organizational strategy, creating strategic business units and making strategic business decisions.• Spearheading organizational or business strategies that may result in new organizational policies and/or new strategic business units (such as new real estate platforms and new business platforms) for the Company.• Active involvement and assisting in various business negotiations (including but not limited to hospitality/real estate management agreements and joint venture agreements with potentialbusiness partners) and providing various inputs to facilitate such business negotiations.• Working in conjunction with the relevant team to assist in fundraising initiatives that the organization may undertake including equity initiatives or the injection of assets into a property fund/REIT, or other such financial instruments such as the raising of convertible equity notes.• Manage divestment process for exit of investments.• Keeping up to date through active research and summarizing of various third-party reports of current market trends, business environment and supply/demand aspects of hospitality productsin the industries and geographies that the organization operates within.• Creation of various business reports and reporting processes and to oversee and manage various deliverables that would be required in the normal course of running the company’s business.• Interaction with shareholders and business partners with regards to the progress of our business and potential future opportunities.• Understanding the requirements, aims, goals, required reporting structures and associated deliverables of joint ventures that the company has with various partners so as to manage suchdeliverables and reporting structures in order to effectively manage the joint venture relationships that the company has and manage the expectations of joint venture partners that the Company has.• Undertaking various initiatives the company may have, that includes (but not limited to) liaison with the appropriate authorities/ statutory boards like the Board of Investments in Thailand or similar institutions both foreign and local, implementation of various organizational structures and systems which would require oversight and coordination with various consultants that the Company sees fit.
Required Qualification & Skill Set :• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate or Architecture or Property related disciplines from top tier university.• 5 years of work experience in business development / finance / project management.• Experience with a real estate developer, operator, brokerage/ property consultancy, private equity, or investment firm is a plus.• Prefer investment banking background.• Experience managing and leading real estate project from inception to launch is a plus.• Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the real estate sector.• Computer proficiency in all MS Office programmers including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.• Strong research, quantitative, financial modeling and analytical skills.• Experience with professional English report writing for management and stakeholders.• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of commitment, intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a multicultural and dynamic work environment.• Team player, with strong interpersonal, social and coordination skills.• Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure.• Strong English Communication and writing skills.
