Construction of OCM Roller Chains Roller chain is made of roller link and pin link Roller link consists of two bushing press-fitted into roller link plate with two free rotating roller over the bushings. Pin link consists of two pin links plate into which two pins are press-fitted. There are two types of pins: Rivet (Spring Clips) and Cotter Types
1) Rivet (Spring Clips) This is standard for all single and multiple strand ANSI standard chain 80 and below and British standard chain 16B and below 2) Cotter type This is standard for all single and multiple strand ANSI standard chain 100 and above and British standard chain 20B and above3) Offset Link Offset link is a combination of roller link and pin link This link is used when the chain length is odd number of pitches It is recommended not to be used offset link whenever possible.4) Two Pitches Offset Link. This unit consists of one offset link and and one roller link. Pins are press-fitted into the link plates and the unit is more suitable for heavy impact load, high-speed driving one pitch offset link.
1) OCM Stainless Roller Chain SUS Series This is chain is made of 304 (austenitic) stainless steel. This chain has excellent corrosive resistance and very low magnetic. This chain is good for acid, alkali, water, etc. Heat resistance.
2) OCM Stainless Roller Chain SAC Series This is chain is made of 316 (austenitic) stainless steel. This is better in corrosive resistance than SUS Series and non-magnetic. Spring clips and cotter used are made of 304 stainless steels. Heat resistance.
3) OCM Stainless Roller Chain SPH Series The pins, bush and roller are made of 600 Series precipitation hardened stainless steel with link plate of 304 stainless steels Spring clips and cotter used are made of 304 stainless steels. Magnetic, Better wear-resistance. The working load of this chain is 1.5 times SUS Series.
OCM "DC' type and "TC" Type Roller Chains(Double Roller Chains and Triple Roller Chains)ระบบ BS Single/Single Pitch/Heavy Duty"DC" type roller chain consists of twice the number of side platesas the single strand chains and its working load is close tothe standard double strand chains. "DC" type and "TC" type rollerchain run on standard roller chain sprockets and the ideal chainspeed is less than 50 m/min.
OCM H (Heavy Duty Roller Chains)ระบบ ANSI/Single Pitch/Heavy Duty "H" type roller chains have increase link plate thickness to provide greater capacity withoutfatigue failure. The link plate thickness is that of the next largersize chains. Single strand roller chain of "H" type run on standardroller chain sprockets.
