Being a Regional FP&A Manager at Workmate
As the Regional FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, providing insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across the 3 countries we operate in - Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
This role reports into the Founder and CEO of Workmate based in Singapore. You can expect your role to be divided into 4 major areas - Financial Analysis and Reporting, Planning and Budgeting, Business Partnering and Continuous Improvement.
What you will be doing
Financial Analysis and Reporting - Lead the preparation and analysis of countries' or businesses' financial and management reports.- Consolidation of management reporting and commentaries.- Preparing monthly dashboards and presentation files.- Ensuring that reporting is done timely, consistently, and accurately.- Joining regional and local follow-up meetings regarding country or business issues.- Be the sounding board for senior stakeholders in the business and provide financial advice, support to country business or finance stakeholders.- Financial Planning and Budgeting
Collaborate with business stakeholders and lead the Business Plan and Budget processes- Deep dive into data mining for P&L analysis and report any necessary anomalies - Continuously monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and provide timely insights to management- Assisting in special projects or ad hoc reporting
Business Partnering- Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior leadership, providing financial guidance and support to drive business results.- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, assess financial implications, and develop solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
Continuous Improvement:- Lead initiatives to enhance financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools.- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
We would love to hear from you if you have
- 5+ years relevant experience in financial/accounting or similar capacity- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with preference for CA/CPA/MBA Finance- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to make sound business forecasting- Advanced Excel, Google Suite (Sheets) and Powerpoint knowledge to present data to senior stakeholders.- Comfortable with changing business needs and able to juggle multiple deadlines by prioritizing accurately. - Ability to develop and maintain favorable working relationships with all levels of the organization.- Experience in finance reporting tools and /or implementing new systems with changes in process and technology would be favorable.- Experience working in a startup would be preferred.อ่านเพิ่มเติม
